DESCRIPTION OF VACCINE INJURIES

DTP and DTaP vaccines:
|
- Seizures, brain injury (encephalopathy or encephalitis) within 7 days after vaccination
- Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM) 5 to 42 days after vaccination
- Autoimmune Encephalitis – 1 to 90 days after vaccination
- Allergic and Anaphylactic reactions - including anaphylactic reactions leading to death - within 24 hours after vaccination
- Injuries to arm and shoulder (Shoulder Injuries Related to Vaccine Administration – SIRVA) within 2 days after vaccination

MMR vaccine:
|
- Seizures, brain injury (encephalopathy or encephalitis) 5 to 15 days after vaccination
- Acute Disseminated Ecnephalomyletis (ADEM) 5 to 42 days after vaccination
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – onset or significant aggravation 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Ataxia (new difficulty with balance or coordination) 5 to 42 days after vaccination
- Transverse Myeltits (TM) 5 to 42 days after vaccination
- Autoimmune Encephalitis – 1 to 90 days after vaccination
- Acute onset of neuropsychiatric symptoms (including symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) 5 to 15 days after vaccination
- Chronic arthritis beginning within 42 days of vaccination
- Thrombocytopenia (unusual bruising or bleeding) within 60 days after vaccination
- Aplastic Anemia within 60 days after vaccination
- Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis within 60 days after vaccination
- Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome within 60 days after vaccination
- Allergic and Anaphylactic reactions within 24 hours after vaccination
- Injuries to arm and shoulder (Shoulder Injuries Related to Vaccine Administration – SIRVA) within 2 days after vaccinating

Tetanus, Td, Tdap and DT vaccines:
|
- Brachial Neuritis within 2 to 28 days after vaccination
- Gullian-Barre Syndrome (GBS) 5 to 42 days after vaccination
- Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM) 5 to 42 days after vaccination
- Acute and Anaphylactic reactions within 24 hours after vaccination
- Injuries to arm and shoulder (Shoulder Injuries Related to Vaccine Administration – SIRVA) within 2 days after vaccinating
Hepatitis B vaccine:

- Transverse Myelitis (TM) 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Gullian-Barre Syndrome (GBS) 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Chronic Inflamatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS) - onset or significant aggravation 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM) 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Autoimmune Encephalitis – 1 to 90 days after vaccination
- Chronic Arthritis beginning within 42 days of vaccination
- Thrombocytopenia (unusual bruising or bleeding) within 42 days after vaccination
- Autoimmune Illness, including Dermatomyositis, within 60 days after vaccination
- Allergic and Anaphylactic reactions within 24 hours after vaccination

Varicella (Chicken-Pox) vaccine:
|
- Varicella (Chicken-Pox) within 30 days after vaccination
- Herpes Zoster (Shingles) caused by the vaccine virus
- Seizures, brain injury (encephalopathy or encephalitis) 5 to 15 days after vaccination
- Meningitis 5 to 15 days after vaccination
- Cerebellar Ataxia 5 to 15 days after vaccination
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – onset or significant aggravation 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Acute onset of neuropsychiatric symptoms (including symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) 5 to 15 days after vaccination
- Thrombocytopenia (unusual bruising or bleeding) within 60 days after vaccination
- Aplastic Anemia within 60 days after vaccination
- Atypical Homolytic Uremic Syndrome within 60 days after vaccination

- Narcolepsy
- Gullian-Barre Syndrome (GBS) 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Brachial Neuritis 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM) 5 to 42 days after vaccination
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – onset or significant aggravation 1 to 60 days after vaccination
- Autoimmune Encephalitis – 1 to 90 days after vaccination
- Allergic or Anaphylactic reaction within 24 hours after vaccination
- Injuries to arm and shoulder (Shoulder Injuries Related to Vaccine Administration – SIRVA) within 2 days of vaccinating
- Falls within a 30 minutes of vaccination (as a result of fainting spell)

HIB (hemophilus influenza type b vaccine):
|
- Hib meningitis, Hib epiglottis, or Hib pneumonia within 7 days after vaccination
- Injuries to arm and shoulder (Shoulder Injuries Related to Vaccine Administration – SIRVA) within 2 days of vaccination

Human Papillomavirus vaccine (Gardasil):
|
- Gullian-Barre Syndrome (GBS) 5 to 42 days after vaccination
- Acute Pancreatitis within 60 days after vaccination
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis - (Lou Gehrig-like disease) illness within 60 days after vaccination
- Blood Clots within 60 days after vaccination
- Injuries to arm and shoulder (Shoulder Injuries Related to Vaccine Administration – SIRVA) within 2 days of vaccination

Rotavirus vaccines:
|
- Intussusception (intestinal blockage) within 3 weeks after vaccination
- Injuries to arm and shoulder (Shoulder Injuries Related to Vaccine Administration – SIRVA) within 2 days of vaccination
|
Meningococcal vaccine:
|
- Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM) 5 to 42 days after vaccination to Meningococcal vaccine
- Gullian-Barre Syndrome (GBS) 5 to 42 days after vaccination
- Injuries to arm and shoulder (Shoulder Injuries Related to Vaccine Administration – SIRVA) within 2 days of vaccination
